Who We Are and Why We Write for the Romanian Diaspora
The Name Behind the Noise
We are CrossBorderChroniclesRo, better known as CBCRO — an independent media platform created by Bivol Mircea, Romanian journalist and writer living in Germany.
A short name, like a punch below the belt, for anyone who believes journalism should bow, kiss rings, or look away when truth hurts.
Who Writes and Why
Here writes Bivol Mircea — not an influencer, not a paid commentator, not a man of the system.
An independent journalist, truck driver by trade, and free spirit by choice.
A Romanian in exile who never stopped believing that words still matter.
He eats news for breakfast, digests them with irony, and transforms them into stories that speak truth to power.
CBCRO is his project — born from frustration, built from conviction, and sustained by readers who still want reality served straight, not filtered.
Why CBCRO Exists
CBCRO was born because independent journalism for the Romanian diaspora didn’t exist.
There was no voice to say things as they are — without sponsors, without political parties, without plastic words.
So, since that voice didn’t exist, I decided to become it.
To speak freely, to write for those who left, and to remind those who stayed that truth doesn’t have a border.
We write about the world as it is — cynical, corrupt, and manipulated — but also about the courage to resist it.
CBCRO stands for a simple creed: truth, irony, and conscience — across borders.
💸 How We’re Funded
CBCRO is a 100% independent media platform — with no political sponsors, no government funding, and no hidden investors.
Every article is written, edited, and published by Bivol Mircea, using personal resources, time, and conviction.
We exist thanks to our readers — through their attention, engagement, and voluntary contributions.
Our revenue model is fully transparent and based on three public pillars:
☕ Buy Me a Coffee – for one-time support.
🎯 Patreon – for monthly contributions and exclusive updates.
💰 Google Revenue Manager – for verified monetization through Google’s official media network, ensuring transparency and compliance with EU media standards.
Every contribution — no matter how small — helps us stay independent, uncensored, and accountable only to our readers.
We don’t sell headlines. We don’t rent conscience.
We stand for truth — and every reader who stands with us keeps CBCRO alive.
🌍 What Comes Next
Our goal is to become a full platform for Romanian journalism in exile — a network of truth across borders.
With news, editorials, investigations, and community.
We want to build a space where the diaspora has a voice, not just a vote.
